How does the consultation process work?

Every project begins with a short conversation — by phone or email — about the space you'd like to improve, the outcome you're looking for and your preferred timeline. For smaller projects we can often agree scope without a site visit; for larger work we arrange a property visit before preparing a written specification.

Do you visit properties before larger projects?

Yes. Any project larger than a single-day installation includes a property visit so we can measure, photograph, and assess the space in person. This ensures the written specification accurately reflects what will be delivered.

What areas do you serve?

We work primarily across Greater London and surrounding areas. Please get in touch with your postcode and we'll confirm whether we can take on the project.

How long do projects take?

Most alcove and shelving projects are completed in 1–3 days on site. Utility and home office fit-outs typically take 3–7 days. Larger bespoke interior projects usually run 1–2 weeks. Your written project specification will include an agreed timeline before work begins.

Are materials included?

Yes. Standard materials, fittings, paint and finishes are included in each package and quoted project. Premium or specialist materials requested by the customer are itemised separately in the written specification.

How are projects scheduled?

Once your written specification is approved and the booking deposit is settled, we agree a start date in writing. We aim to give a minimum of two weeks' notice for project start dates wherever possible.

How do payments work?

Fixed-price packages on the pricing page are paid upfront via Stripe. For larger bespoke projects, a deposit secures the booking and the remaining balance is invoiced at agreed milestones. We never use recurring billing or subscriptions.

Do you offer recurring services?

No. UrbanNest Builds delivers one-off residential improvement projects only. We do not offer maintenance plans, subscriptions, retainer agreements, or membership programmes.
